Invisible Thread Lift is the advanced, non-invasive face lift procedure that gently eliminates the signs of aging. As we get older, our connective tissue thins and our collagen and elastin fibers start to break down. The invisible thread lift is a safe, non-surgical technique that is ideal for patients who have developed sagging, deep crease folds and wrinkles in the brow line, cheeks, jowl and neck
area attributed to the aging process.

This non-invasive, invisible procedure eliminates the downtime and scars
left behind from more surgical approaches such as the mini-lift or standard face
lift. Patients have a relaxed, fresh apperance that enhances the natural contours of the face. In addition, once the threads are in position, new collagen forms around each thread, enhancing and maintaining the lift effects.

The thread lift procedure uses individual fine suspension sutures or “threads”
to elevate and support sagging areas on the brow line, midface, jowls and neck
area. The threads are inserted under the skin in precise locations using a small
hollow needle and/or through a tiny incision in the scalp. Some threads have
small finger-like projections that grasp and lift supported tissue which are then
repositioned into a more vertical and youthful position. When the lift effect
is secured the hollow needle is removed, the thread is then cut short allowing
it to retract deep under the skin where it cannot be seen or felt.

For maximum effect, our surgeons customize the Invisible Face Lift by
combining additional facial enhancement procedures such as Aquamid ™
(micrographs) for deep lines and wrinkles, smartlipo/laserlipolisi ® for fat
removal and skin tightening and blepharosplasty (eyelid) surgery. Botox® may also be recommended the day after surgery or at the next follow up visit.
